National Landing

Home of Amazon’s East Coast Headquarters

National Landing, situated at the heart of the DC region, is a vibrant confluence of Crystal City, Pentagon City, and Potomac Yard, and it's also the chosen location for Amazon's East Coast headquarters.

This dynamic area has witnessed an impressive injection of over $12 billion in private and public investment and since 2019 Studio 4D has partnered with JBG Smith to create a constantly updated immersive virtual environment that spans over 583 acres.

City Ridge

A redevelopment in Northwest DC

City Ridge is a visionary redevelopment of what was formerly Fannie Mae’s headquarters in Northwest DC.

One of the major challenges was figuring out how you program what was originally 250,000 square feet of office into 1.8 million square feet of mixed use development comprising a mix of office space, retail, and 690 apartments.

"it's a challenge to explain to someone how you are repositioning a 10-acre site, so being able to walk someone through what that experience would look and feel like upon completion was invaluable.”

Project Director

La Tahona

High-end residential neighborhoods

La Tahona is known for developing high-end residential neighborhoods, and each offers a different way of living, with a unique identity that caters to the diverse needs, tastes, and preferences of the families who choose to make La Tahona their home.

For their latest large-scale residential projects we've crafted cutting-edge virtual environments, encompassing over 1,100 acres. These digital realms present varied challenges, showcasing unique features like vineyards, equestrian facilities, lakes, and pristine beachfronts, providing an immersive and comprehensive view of these extensive and diverse living spaces.

UTE

Training through Virtual Reality Simulation

UTE is a public company in the energy sector that, through the development of activities such as generation, transmission, distribution, and commercialization of electric energy, works to make electric energy accessible throughout the country.

At Studio 4D we built a Virtual Reality Simulator that aims to facilitate the training of personnel in operational tasks related to the Transmission Substation. It offers an immersive and interactive experience with a high level of realism, where the user wears a virtual reality headset to interact with safety equipment and access the Montevideo M Substation.
